Well, I'm just a massive fan of Vitsoe shelving. On the other hand I was already designing some drawers for your 7" collection because it's so much nicer to have them in that orientation and flip through them. An easy thing to do would be plywood furniture that your current boxes fit in. Or even just plywood boxes the other boxes slide into so you can stack the whole lot and pull any box out. Could even be 15 or 12mm instead of 18.
If your Tascam CDR starts crapping out reading disks don't bin it. I fixed mine by changing a couple of caps in the power supply. It's kind of inevitable the original caps will fail sometime soon. I don't use mine any more because I record the vinyl for DJing and Rekordbox records anything you want so easily. Sadly if you give most people a cd these days they don't have anything to play it with.

I should be getting a Tascam 122 cassette deck in the near future, so the CD player will probably have to go... Won't be able to reach the mixer unless I do a @dubtap and go rotary, then I can keep all the formats!!
The display has gone a bit wonky on mine but it still plays CDs fine, I was so excited to get that thing BITD... Thanks for the tip!
I also need a shelf for the speakers, I realise that's a terrible place to put them...
Hoover to the top of the boxes first then in for a closer look I reckon... I should get some better singles boxes, maybe something with a lid... Anything good out there? Most of the 45s are in a plain paper sleeve inside a plastic sleeve so they should be okay, LPs need some TLC too...
My Action and Creation singles box sets were almost black with mould and dust along the top edge, some isopropyl alcohol fixed them but I was very worried they were FUBAR'd... I've neglected my records for ages, don't play vinyl often enough...
