Look like a good time.
Is that Steamroller forks modded with canti studs?
-
• #353
It’s a brother all day fork, with no modification

• #354
I see. Smart looking

Sadly the Rooster was sold, but a good Thermos carrier. I have since been trying to re-create it for the last 3 years
Yep, lots to explore over to Crowthorne and out to Bagshot across Barossa as well.

On the way over here a lovely man with a pube beard in a van nearly hit me to race for a stale junction
Upon asking what the fuck, he threatened to stab me in the temple, got out his van and squared up, it’s not worth it, I let him flex his roid enduced road rage until he got back in his van and drove off
This cans for all the bone headed shit men out there not letting it spoil my plans,
And the outfit?
Uniqlo block tech parka
Freshly hemmed arcteryx combats
Supreme beanieAlso, check out my SICK new Paul brake I finally found the bolts for

People can be such shits, it's so unfathomable. Worth reporting. Yours is a can of Good Karma for you and that van man calls out the wrong person next time and get served.

Really love the trans flag in the spacer stack.
Also sounds like classic van man behaviour. I rarely ever say anything anymore just to avoid the potential escalation.

he threatened to stab me in the temple
Which god was he planning to sacrifice you to?

Thanks guys,
@crossedthread I was noting down the plate up until the moment he got out and started walking over at that point I just kind of went blank, had a fair few altercations with the automotive ragers but I think this is the first time I’ve been genuinely scared of one
@oheyitsdrew thank you! I try to avoid it now mostly, I think what was so horrible about this one was how quite blasé I was with the comment and how quickly he just blew up, unstable individual, I fear for the people in his personal life, if there are any
@BareNecessities one would imagine one of the new ones “cancel culture the baptist” or “the holy, we’re not a racist family”

Wow, what an utter cock!
I stopped riding with a member of my Saturday group ride because he got way too agro with drivers, almost as if he was looking for an altercation, whereas I tend to try and ignore them and not give the dickhead drivers (99.9999999999% male) any more reason to want to run me off the road, they're obviously on a pretty short fuse to start with.
Hope you're ok, and yes, that is a very nice front brake. -

Sorry to hear about the road rage. What an idiot.

It seems like an awful lot of different things, but I like it :-)

when the paint is on, will really sell it imo,
fulfilled the spec 100% of a weirdo cross bike someone stuck a bmx fork on / 29r retro mtb / customer asks for everything unironically / something that's fun to ride to the ride
some initial reviews from the dms:
"top of seat tube reminds me of like medieval suit of armour"
"Looks suspiciously not weird"
"Absolutely ludicrous, mv must be pleased"

What colour are you going for?

why part lug part lugless?
-
• #373
thanks guys!
@jontea colour wise it will be a plum/metallic red frame with a thick American mustard yellow "drip/splatter", the fork and stem will be a gloss black. as if the frame originally had a different fork; they were broken, lost or not fit for purpose and had to be replaced
@Thrasher looking back, i think my exact words at the time of request were:
in regards to lugs on the frame i think they would be nice, i love the seat cluster you have on the splatter one, im also reaaally into mismatch/ sort of "quilted together things" so the idea of like...part lugged/ part fillet on the frame/forks would be cool (im no bike maker tho so this could be unreasonable)

this will be mv himself! i've always liked his paint as it's utilitarian in application and finish, without being either too drab or too overly fussy
That looks like an ideal set up.
I’m excited to go off the fire paths with the new bike, and will have to resist the temptation to rip the gears off and put the chunky tires on to have something similar 😳
Agreed @jontea , find myself leaving the wahoo at home now on all but the rides where I’m a little too far from home to trust my nose, lowering the amount “of bike things to check” makes getting out the door more attractive also.
