You could get it on 35mm for non-theatrical exhibition (eg a membership film society).

Wasn't there a cinema, in amsterdam?, that showed the film on a loop or something like that.

Possibly. The UK theatrical ban was in some way linked to cinemas and their licence from the council. I expect the rules are different in foreign places.
