Afternoon all

Cleaning out the shed to afford more items to put in the shed.

Fulcrum 27.5" 650b wheelset / Terrano Zero 47c Tyres / Shimano 11speed freehub / QR rear, 15mm TA front, 6 bolt disc / 11-28 cassette £200

My lovely 650b wheelset with almost brand new (~600km) Terrano Zero tyres - a workhorse MTB wheelset that has been on my winter bike for a few seasons without a single complaint. Squish city, and perfect for English roads. Tyres are set up tubeless with nice Muc Off valves and Stans Race Sealant.

I presume that these hubs have changeable end caps, although have never fiddled with them myself. Caveat Emptor.

Chris King Sotto Voce Black Headset - 1 ⅛" external upper, 1.5" external lower. - £60
Unused, never fitted. Don't ask me if it will fit your bike, I bought the wrong one so clearly don't fucking know.

** Deda Superzero Alloy Bars / 42 ctc - £15**
Used to hide Di2 cables internally as they have tonnes of routing options, and a nice rounded tops profile. These have a serious scratch / bit missing from the left hand bar end. Nothing you'd noticed with tape on and a bar plug in, but definitely took a slide at some point. I don't think it was me, but I can't remember.

** Deda Zero100 alloy bars / 42 ctc - £15 each - two sets**
My go to road bar - lovely shape, shallow drop. Really hard to beat for a compact drop. These have both been well used, and are missing decals and showing plenty of signs of wear. Price is per bar.

Interested in the zipps pending some more pics, what's the internal width please?

I did buy it for a Volare, but of a different year. I refuse to speculate further

My 2018 frame came with a Prestine F-17-A 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 tapered headset, what year is/was yours and I’ll try and work out what headset yours is fitted with, is there a code for the CK headset other than just the two sizes? Really keen for this to fit but also have a history of buying bits that aren’t quite right.

I looked up the headset for yours but results were inconclusive. Nowhere had the actual measurements. Just measure the outside diameters of each cup where they go into the frame.
Pretty sure Morgan’s frame was a standard EC44/ZS44

Ok, as my brand new frame arrived just before covid last January it has sat in a corner in its box rather unloved, reinventing my commuter took priority for some reason. Anyway, I’ve dug a box out of the box and discovered the perfectly good headset the frame was supplied with. There is a slightly illegible code on the side of the bearing races, anything in particular I should be looking for?

You want the external width of the cups on the bits that would be inside the headtube

Right, at risk of coming across as stupid as I obviously am, top is 1 1/8 bottom is 1 1/2. The external width of cup where it enters headtube seems slightly larger allowing for the 1mm? depth of the alloy.

My frame is EC34/ZS44, this headset is EC34/ZS49

@CptnBigNose I will knock £10 off the price for you if you stop talking about headsets.
