I’d be interested in the forks for the de Rosa if your split? What’s the steerer length?
-
• #4

Unfortunately they dont fit the frame that's replaced this one too!

Whats the tyre clearance like at the rear? Can it take a mudguard?
-
• #9
That's a great price with the columbus fork and CK
-
• #10
32 easily and it has braze ons for guards

28 is all I've tried on the front

It hurts to get rid of it but with the age it's a fair price! It's been well used and loved.

True true, I’d consider buying for them and selling the frame - I didn’t know they did a sotto voce style claret hs
Edit: is it the root beer colour? Very tempting!

Omg why isn't this 56 or bigger :''(
-
• #18
Its 56 c to the very top of the clamp area :)

I also have 3 top tube clamps if anyone wants for a SS build

Ah my concern is more the length of TT tbh. Can it take 32 tyres with a mudguard, or without?
-
• #21
I've never tried but I reckon so. It was made by trek as a SS tourer. I'm 5,9 with short arms and the reach is good for me with bull horns, drops and risers.

Oh man, I’m tempted
Hey,
For sale is my trek triton resprayed at armortex when they were still in clapton. 54 ctt seat tube and 54,5 ctc top tube. 1 1/8 head tube and english threaded bb.
I've had the frame since new in 2011. I used it solidly for about 4 years and then not so regularly after.
The paint is not as shiny as the photos suggest as theres plenty of surface scratches that dull it a bit. Theres scratches and paint chips that wouldn't capture so viewing is advised. Theres also a couple of small specs of white paint on the down tube.
The forks have 2 indented rings around the steerer as pictured. These sit below the headset cap and I have no idea how they came to be. It has been cut to slam the stem. Theres approx 45mm of steerer above the headset including the bung.
Headset bearings are smooth enough. It was only installed a year and a half ago and not ridden a great deal since.
£no longer for sale
Collection only from N10.
Any questions feel free to PM.
Cheers!
