Thanks for the DI tips. Will do some research. Have never tried using the Yamahahaha to be honest as it lives downstairs by the telly. Worth a go.
Also intrigued by the Bronco bass bargain. I have a Squier jazz natural walnut bass but i don't dig it at all. Would far rather have a P-bass sized neck. Or something else shortscale. Sold my Dano shortscale to to @not4sale last year so if i flog that Jazz i'd need something cheap and cheerful for recording. What's the nut width like on those little broncos?
