My main amp & bass are down stairs in the lounge, my working space is upstairs - everyone needs a little 4-string next to their desk for work time noodling right? Right?
My guitars and amps are right next to my desk at home. WFH since C19 has done wonders for my playing :)

Same here man! I've only been caught out forgetting to mute once. Last week in a particularly dry board meeting i picked up an open tuned acoustic and started to play a bit of slide and some one on the call commented as an aside "i got them Scope Management Board blues..." which is what made me realise i'd been rumbled. I quickly muted myself and did a big cringe while a couple of people speculated who it was. Annoyingly someone else said, "I bet it was Fatberg, he looks like the type". I just laughed and changed the subject back to business but was well and truly busted.

Not only do I have a lingering fancy for a jazz bass, now in no small part due to this thread, I have GAS for an SG bass & inexplicably today a short scale Mustang bass.
