That’s a 28mm tyre (&mudguard) the manufacturer says max 30mm but that looks like loads of room. How big can I go? How can I tell?What tyre for summer gravel?How many frame bags?

You can probably get 45mm mudguard and maybe 32mm tyres but I wouldn’t advise pushing it.

I won't put bigger than slick 32c. You may be able to fit a cyclocross tire. Less than a few mm each side of clearance and you'll touch the stays if the wheel flexes, picks dirt or gets out of true.
