Is that the new Catlike helmet?

I think it's a technical pumice stone...

if he did he's an idiot.
Also what sort of journalism playbook are business week/bloomberg journalists working from if they are being paid by the people they are writing stories on? -
• #22330
Advertorial? Paid feature? Lowest of the low...
Editorial departments don't usually have much to do with those, it'll be a product cooked up by the publisher/sales team to bring in extra $$$s...

don't think it is, did a bit of googling, and it seems journalist reached out to him.
Journalist's twitter is blowing up though, some interesting threads on there about his story -

Hmm, mysteriously knowing when the "normal" stock is slashed in price & clearing it out with an employee discount code does sound a bit off
He’s REALLY good at finding when large retailers are going to slash prices so he can buy em up.

He’s also buying up stuff that’s discontinued.
He’s like.... REALLY good at this stuff.

It's mostly EVA, so it'll likely look the same, though dustier from its unsold condition.

I picked up a pair of these cheap as chips recently - comfy / ugly dadshoe vibe / anti-hype, what's not to like?
If it said Balenrguaprawaua on the side they'd be £800 & people would lose their minds

Where would you like me to start? 💩🤪

Four years ago I was moaning on here about having two pairs each of Paris and London dunk’s and flipping them within a month of purchase because I thought they were a bit shit. I basically broke even on an EasyJet and a hotel next to Moulin Rouge for the night.
Now I feel a bit ill.

2x pairs of AM1 Kid robots (1 DS)
DS should be able to fetch $4k without trying.

It's all a bit mink coat and Rolex for me.
I get collection. I do. I get silly prices for stuff. The way collection is now a load of already wealthy people pretending to be drug dealers (cook team) and using tech rather than actually doing the work speaks fucking volumes about the world we live in.

Trying to make sense of these, a take on NB? Nike?
Sale blurb went along the lines of 'manufactured trainers for the great american sport shoe brand". -
• #22343
Come to think of it - many of my trainer choices have been widely ridiculed, first ones I can remember being crucified for as a teenager were the turtle flavoured Huarache Plus & my wife still cringes when I pull out the sick fadez sockracer...
I regret nothing. If strangers aren't shouting at you in the street are you even trying?

• #22344
what are these? i like em

• #22345
Both lovely

• #22346
footscape motions also way more enlightened than most think. maybe not in those colours but I always had a soft spot for the ripstop blue/grey/purple pack
-
• #22347
Which ones? Looking back I appear to have gone on a jazzy trainer shitpost...
Puma Thunder Spectra
Nike Footscape - Japan 2000/1 release (there was a similar sample knocking around but the sock is burgundy)
Nike Huarache Plus 1994(?)
Nike Sockracer Flyknit -

The footscape were a really well designed shoe - amazingly comfortable, i'm sure the insole (on the original style anyway) had little raised bumps on the forefoot that kinda massaged your feet as you walked

the footscapes, cheers!

I regret selling my foot scapes on the bay. They were indeed so comfy
