I'm running the same setup on one of my bikes. Campag 10 speed shifters, plus nearly any Shimano rear mech (non-clutch and 11spd I think) are pretty much bang on for Shimano 8 speed cassette spacing.

very lovely

Really cool! What front rack is this?

Nice! Liking the repurposing of a cool older bike (esp. with tanwalls).

Its the Blackburn Bootlegger. The fork has no mid blade eyes so a rack with a large platform (ish) that could be mounted to the canti studs was in short supply. I imported it from Deutschland

50mm tyres with space for mudguards is a dream clearance. Waiting patiently for this to become the industry standard.

That will need adaptation of BOOST

Thanks for making me feel good on this otherwise average Wednesday

but my qr mtb has 2.35 + guard space so?
Seems obvious you can just put more clearance in there but apparently we all have to pay extra for it because of the Powers That Be.

WOW! awesome!

Since chainstays aren't straight tubes, there needn't be any correlation between tyre clearance and axle width.
The single only consideration when looking for more tyre clearance is crank arm and chainring clearance.*You could very easily build a boost frame with space for only 25c tyres or a 135mm QR frame with space for 2.4"
Don't believe everything people tell you if they're also trying to sell you something which fixes the problems that they tell you exist
*given you've already chosen your tubes for maximum clearance. ...and BB shell width
@Heldring & @FlnFnk both of those are wheely wheely nice!
