Nice one. Nothing wrong with a good quality guitar whatever your level. Going to enjoy it vicariously from over here, don’t forget to post pix...

Mate, that’s a hard pass x3 for me. Oof. Nope.

Looking at the oxblood finish in this vid it’s a little brighter than in the Andertons pics. The tortoiseshell guard looks quite bright too. Nice combo tho.

i'm just not too wild about any wood pattern showing thru on my guitars... solid colours all the way. i hear you about SG's always being Angus Young red or close af thereto. I'd love a white one but all i can find are LH ones. So black it is.

Thankfully not mine! I don't think anyone needs one Warwick Alien, nevermind four!
I'm actually excited for it though, I'm going to turn it into an 8-string with Thunderbird style humbuckers!

Presume you enjoy All Them Witches?

Yup!

@Fatberg
That poor Rickenbacker...
This Warwick though...
The original prototypes weren't even chambered!

Yeah, I do, I went through a phase of listening to them quite a bit and got a bit tired of some of their more fiddly time signature stuff, but yeah. I dig.

Is anyone in the market for a very fancy tremolo pedal? I've got a Chase Bliss Gravitas that I need to shift. It sounds amazing and is very flexible but I need the cash. See demo below:

£230 posted within the UK ONO if anyone is interested!

Ah... last month I probably would have. I have been on a tremolo pedal hunt (with harmonic tremolo mode, preferably analogue) for a hot minute, the Gravitas was in contention but I ended up with a Jam Harmonious Monk (awful name, but at least I got a custom paint one without the TPS branding). GLWS!

Cheers mate, it is an amazing pedal but probably more than I need and looks slightly out of place compared to the rest of my fairly barebones pedal collection!

Yeah, to be honest that was my impression when I looked at it, sounds amazing but more options than I needed, too much to think about almost. Which is daft because I use some quite complicated stuff when making electronic music. But for guitar pedals I definitely tend towards simpler stuff.

Heretic.

I’m a sucker for anything early-Sabbath-esque
-
• #10843
Heh, thanks, I think they’re maybe sailing a bit close to the wind even for me! Some of those riffs are almost exact Sabbath bites. The guitarist could do with a lot more treble in his tone for my taste too.

I have an iRig 2 that I've never used, still in it's box.
Anyone want it? £20 posted?
(stock image but mine looks the same)

Needs a range master!

Exactly!

I know, they are almost spot on..............at which point its pure aping! Kinda like Orchid were a few years back, although at least Orb aren't dressing the part as well :)

• #10848
i couldn't listen to orchid for that reason. there's an ausso band that do the same thing to the DC and i just cant do it
-

Oooh, I like a bit or Orchid!

Not only do I have a lingering fancy for a jazz bass, now in no small part due to this thread, I have GAS for an SG bass & inexplicably today a short scale Mustang bass.
My main amp & bass are down stairs in the lounge, my working space is upstairs - everyone needs a little 4-string next to their desk for work time noodling right? Right?
Tell me that pic is from the guitar shop you bought it from and not your personal collection...
