  • Back pack. Made this as a (uncompleted) gift (no straps, ....yet...). Slim profile but expands out. Made up of two compartments/halves, one (facing nearest to back) is the slimmer for bits and pieces/ laptop/tablet etc, and the other after releasing the cinch straps, expands out giving alot more space to dump stuff. Take more pics when completed.

  • Received my bar bag and very happy with it! As can be seen in the photos attached, the bag has plenty of storage both inside and outside; I can easily fit a large portable charger, snacks, multi tool, inner tubes, etc, inside the main compartment, and the side pockets are great for quickly accessing gels or bars. Would definitely recommend getting a bag from Dan, made up to a high standard, very professional and very quick!

  • Tool rolls look mega - those of you who’ve got them, any issues catching the back of your legs/bum? Idk whether it’s my saddle position or what, but I’ve had a couple of tool rolls that catch my legs and if these don’t do that I’m dead keen for one.

  • Mine doesn’t catch my legs & holds what I need it to. Had another tool roll from prior that I couldn’t stand beyond a couple of rides due to the exact same issue. Tested with a Cambium, Romin and some sort of Fabric saddle and fine with all of them

  • Received a bar bag and can only echo previous sentiments - it's very well made and thought through; love the colours in the flesh too, and the size is perfect. Cheers Dan!

  • full pics of this gazetta tho :eyes:

  • I got a bag from Dan earlier this week, I asked for a basket bag to fit a Pelago rack based in photos in this thread and I am really happy with how it turned out.

Some slightly dodgy riders POV photos attached. Found it really hard to find a bag which works well with the rack, no idea how people use crates without everything in them getting destroyed by bumps on the road. This bag is padded around the bottom, easy to carry, easy to attach and secure. Would really recommend to anyone who has a similar problem.

  • Your barrel bags looks great. Have you got any made at the moment? Or do you have any plans for making any more up?

  • Yes, currently making a small new batch as well as other stuff. Should be done during this week.

  • Ok cool! I’ll keep an eye out. I think my wife is after one.

  • @AlexD mine comes out every ride and is sick. 10/10 would recommend

  • Got my tool roll today. Build quality is excellent and so is the design with the many velcro patches. Stoked! Thanks!

  • Thanks to everyone who brought my last creations. Started a few (new) colour combos for bar bags I've knocked up for a round 3 🥊 blitz plus other stuff.

  • Will be attempting to make one of those big ass courier backpacks soon (or as big as i feel achievable). Are these still a thing?

  • How do you feel about making a motorcycle pillion seat bag?

  • /\ I'd also be interested in what @Chak is suggesting, if it helped to produce 2?
@chak what are the requirements you were thinking (how to attach etc?)

    https://www.bahnstormer.co.uk/product/pillion-seat-bag/ ?

  • Not sure on specifics. I don't like using a backpack and don't need the top box for daily use.
It'll be going on a tiger 800. Maybe under seat velcro straps?

  • I agree, don't need topbox for daily and a rucksack is not great for that freedom feeling ! I'm on a Funduro 650, so could go under seat straps or straps that fit the side pannier racks. @user71349 what do you think? Achievable for us? Definitely interested.

  • @Chak @user6370 Maybe. Not too familiar with these tbh. They need to hold their shape as in semi rigid?

  • Dunno about @user6370 but I’m not much keen on the rigid shape. Just something that’s practical and fits outback. Think more like a small rack bag or a squarish roll top. I’ll try find example

  • Yes agreed, the bag doesn’t have to be rigid, just rugged and as waterproof as possible (although I’d be likely to use a dry bag inside it so not a clincher). The stuff I would put in will give it is shape. Keen to see what @Chak finds as an example.

  • I've had a look around and kreiga 10l comes to mind really. It's a simple double layered roll top that seems to be highly praised.

  • Agree @chak that Kriega is an excellent make, just out of my price range. But if @user713491349 could make something like above, anything from 10-20l would suit me, and the under seat fixings are well illustrated there. What do you think @user71349 ? Is this something you'd consider? Would be cool to get this by end of spring as I have a few trips planned. Cheers both.
