Yeah you want the Grundplatte and the frontplatte. Unsure of B&Q’s ability, our local one can only do 90 degree cuts ha.
Turning while loaded depends on a number of factors if you’re talking about catching cargo with your bars. The current stock builds now come with swept back bars which allow for more turning without catching your cargo. The easy up stem allows you to pop it up if your carrying something particularly tall (although it’s mainly for different height riders). Also you can properly lean into corners so you don’t need huge amounts of space to turn.
All that aside our pals who roast our coffee for us in Bournemouth bought a Bullitt from us and built this, which meant they could spread the load further forwards.
