Have you disconnected and reconnected them?
-
• #603
Yes, done that. But it doesn’t seem to go back and retrieve files that haven’t been transferred, so can you manually push rides from Zwift to Strava?
Edit: I’ll do the .fit file thing. The system seems slightly unstable.

Upload the fit files?
-
• #605
On my phone it takes an age to upload, I think the servers are probably having a nightmare. I push to Strava fine, but if it's not working you could push to Garmin then pull Strava from there (or something similar). If you can get one zwift sync working then Strava/TP/Garmin servers may be more reliable.
Edit: sorry, just reread your post - I don't think you can push old files manually.

More noob questions...
I have managed to find and buy a Saris M2 which I should get by the end of next week. Specs says to connect "via integrated dual-band Ant+ FE-C and bluetooth".
What kind of Ant+ device do I need to connect to a MacBook Air?Also, are all riser blocks created equal? Same for trainer tyres - what do I need to look for?

ANT+ USB dongle. And an extension cable. They tend to get a bit grumpy if plugged into a computer directly.
Also, are all riser blocks created equal?
It's just a block of stuff to lift the front wheel. Anything the right height should do.
Same for trainer tyres - what do I need to look for?
I used a blue Schwalbe trainer tyre before switching to a direct drive trainer. No complaints, and I didn't die. But any reasonably durable tyre should be fine.

That should be able to Bluetooth directly to the computer, no dongle required.

Good point. No need for an ANT+ dongle.

Bluetooth Zwift And Saris have stopped working since the November update. Use Ant+

• #611
Alright. Got Ant+ dongle, extension cable, riser block and trainer tyre on order. Should be set up before next weekend.

Get one of those sweat protector things for your bike, sweat is very corrosive.
-
• #614
Or a towel. My sweat is similar to the blood of the aliens in Alien, in terms of its capacity to cause corrosion, so I use both.

Anyone got a spare Kickr Core power cable I could buy? Lost mine :(
-
• #617
You can get a non-branded power brick and cable with the same spec on Amazon. I've been using one for a few weeks now and seems fine.
-
• #619
Can you link the one you got? Heard some horror stories about frying the kickr, but if yours works I'll follow suit
-
• #620
Horror stories?
Not sure what could be the difference in a power supply if the specs are the same. Maybe someone can enlighten me why the KICKR one is £65 and a normal one is £15 or so.

I was getting into Zwiftpower, and couldn't find an LFGSS team. Do we have one? Would it be fun to have one?
-
• #624
There isn’t a team currently/yet, but there are weekly organised training sessions and looking to expand.

I just tried Rouvy, meh. Spent a while downloading a video then when riding it I realised it was only 10km long. Also it's literally just playing a video and had some weird speeding up and down bits. May be better for racing but I won't be making the switch from Zwift.
Does anyone else have trouble with Zwift not automatically updating rides to various linked apps like TR, TP, Strava? This despite all the relevant connections having been established. Is there a simple fix or manual ‘push to (said service)’ button that I’m missing? Ta
