Ooffft not good. Still looks more like a lever type issue than the bar design.

Didn’t break at the adjustment bit at the bars, does look over clamped.
Having said that, they have been racing over cobbles so surprised more carbon bars don’t break.
Canyon to release classics edition alloy aero bars?

It’s not folded or failed from what I can see in the tweet/ picture you shared.
Maybe there is another picture showing this?
To me it still looks like the lever slipped and the tape came off.
