This thread makes me want to get on and rebuild mine, I picked up a hand painted shabby Gillot a few years ago and had it resprayed in period colours and got the transfers to match, I have tracked down period late fifties parts to build it just not got round to it yet.
How it was at first.

And as it is now ready to build.

Very nice that, Nervex Pro lugs, did you add the braze-ons for a rear rack and brake cable or were they already there.
Nice colour as well what colour out of interest and final question do you know the age?

Colour is Flamme red, the braze on's were all there when I got it but the guy who I got it from was a tourer so he may have added them.
We think it is a 1958 from the frame number and lug work.
