Yeah , that's a good shout regarding the Scotchbrite pads, they do more coarse ones in Halfords in the car paint section.

I treated it to some new OEM pads, sanded the rotors lightly then cleaned them with isopropyl. Who wants £50 on me forgetting that I have done this and charging off down the trail with no brakes next weekend?
