Probably just about. Order Stanton.
Or go old school on the dropper and fit a qr seatpost clamp.

fit a qr seatpost clamp
I prefer to hook my shorts on the saddle and crash (I did this, not even on a hill, it was outside a shop and I hooked it jumping on the bike, fucking embarrassing) than fit a QR seatpost clamp.

Have you had a quote from RSF for a steerer replacement?
-
• #19980
good morning pit
the cost for the steerer is £147 + £37 for the lower leg service
this also includes vat and return postage
thanks
daveStirling Bike Doctor quoted £120 for steerer fitted but you have to arrange your own currier to collect and if you want the lower leg service you have to provide your own service kit.

Peaslake village shop no longer doing takeaway food in order to promote social distancing. I’m eating my sandwiches by Pedal and Spoke, feeling quite glad I made them before setting out.

Rear brakes barely working again- bets on pads glazed or contaminated?

I’m thinking glazed.

Should my rockshox fork that came as OEM with my On-One Scandal be making weird air-leaking noises when I compress it? (it is 4 rides old)

It just remembered that it's a Magura

I treated it to some new OEM pads, sanded the rotors lightly then cleaned them with isopropyl. Who wants £50 on me forgetting that I have done this and charging off down the trail with no brakes next weekend?

The fronts had felt ok, but shiny as a shiny thing.

Which fork is it? It should make a little bit of noise, but if it's concerning you then contact PX about getting it serviced under warranty.

Thanks. It felt very soft on every setting apart from lockout, i will top up the air next time I ride and see how it feels

Actual glazed pads are pretty rare I thought rather than shiny and working. Hopefully the isopropyl works.
Did you find the trails OK?
I went into the stores today for a takeaway san pellegrino, solero and snickers.

Braking too much, are your rotors worn?Wear is a bit uneven?

Had a lot of fun yesterday, didn’t get out today so broken the rear suspension down to service it as penance- and of course one of the bearings that I don’t have is shot. I think I may actually park the full suspension bike up for winter next year given the grinding paste I’ve been spending some hours evicting.

Interesting, I'd always assumed that the shiny surface was not what was wanted. What does a properly glazed pad look like? When I google for it I bring up lots of images of pads that look like mine.
How much for a 26" Inbred? Guessing not enough money to buy a dropper.
