With the Merc in @Dibble 's photo being parked inside the railing at the bottom left of the photo
That would have you looking up the face of the tower, not across at it. The flyover would also feature.
hence the salmon coloured building just left of centre, is obscured.
How recent is the salmon pink tower?
Its missing from this picture which is taken from the Billingsgate roundabout but pinned closer to where I'd guess.Whats occurring in the developing area behind the black hoarding?

I take your point about the proximity to the block building.
The salmon building is fairly recent - the satellite pic of it shows it with tower crane alongside it.
It dates the photo as 2021, the authenticity of which I'm struggling with.
Also, at the location you've shown (next to the traffic light tree) I see nothing resembling railings.
I'm also trying to take into account that Streetview photos seem to have been shot with a wide-angle lens, which is further compounded by the distortion in the reflection in the curve of the bonnet. I'm still pretty sure you have the right buildings tho. -

If you look at Google Maps on a browser you can choose the dates of the pictures (if others are available) by clicking on the clock icon and "street view" text in the top left box.
July 2016 - no salmon tower, no cranes
April 2017 - no tower but a couple of cranes
Sep 2017 - tower is a few storeys high
March 2018 - tower is ~10 storeys high
April 2019 - tower is undergoing cladding
Sep 2020 - all finishedHere's a link to the July 2016 streetview: https://goo.gl/maps/kn4Lrtsy1s1Mi9LKA

I think those railings are either on top of, or just behind, a wall.

@Dibble
Maybe a hedge with railings surrounding a car park
Isle of Dogs

And the tree, pictured next to the car park is probably the reflection on the bonnet.

Between Gamestop stock during the week and this effort on the weekends, I haven’t seen my wife and kids for going on a month now.

Hi all!
My friend wants to buy a Quella bike, he can get one for £320 via cycle scheme.
I'm not very knowledgeable with otp choices these days, but when I've seen these bikes in the flesh they always made me feel like another foffa/mango/create, etc type of (shit) thing.
Thoughts welcome...

Seems like they’re the same sort of brand, yeah. Steel frame set and most of the components are own brand, which isn’t usually a sign of quality from little known brands.

Sounds like steel cans are the better way to go, but I'm still interested to try annealing the alu cans to see what happens.

I've always wanted to make actual Penrose tiles (the ones that tile prefectly but never have a repeating pattern), and sell them to maths departments around the world.
I haven't done anything about the idea in the last 20 years though, so it's unlikely I'll start now especially as I don't have access to a kiln any more

Thanks mate, I'll probably give that a miss though. This just for a smallish batch run of custom cookies, and most likely the cutter is going to get thrown away soon after.

Have you seen the QMUL maths building?

Is retrofriction by design less or more susceptible to excessive cable friction (shit routing) compared to other shifters?

When there are a few bands with the same name on Spotify, do the right bands get the (pitiful) royalties from plays? If so, how?
This is a superb early 2000s album by a nice bunch of lads from Wakefield.
There are a few other bands on there called Dugong and I don't want them to get the real Dugong's money.

If so, how?
Same way everything works on computers, what you see on the screen is just a human friendly display name attached to a unique alphanumeric identifier.

Same as anything else, it's the return spring in the derailleur which has to overcome the friction.
Maybe this area. The top floors of the square block one could be it and also curved side of the other high rise.
