    If replacing wearable parts when they are worn out because you rode the shit out of them is a reason for putting off cycling then you're screwed.

  • We've been through this haven't we? I ride through mud when I have to. I wouldn't seek it out for a host of reasons mentioned earlier in this thread. Wearing stuff out annoys me but doing so many miles these days means I've had to get used to it. Perhaps another reason I don't seek out mud is because it's expensive enough without speeding up wear.
