If you want something that will last forever (but might cost a bit) there is a man in Leyton who makes custom punches for leather that look like highly robust cookie cutters.
I can’t remember his name at the moment but if you’re interested I’ll put a bit of though in. Somewhere near Argyle Way?
Thanks mate, I'll probably give that a miss though. This just for a smallish batch run of custom cookies, and most likely the cutter is going to get thrown away soon after.
Metallurgy question: I want to chop up a drinks can to make a cookie cutter, but the metal is really springy and difficult to shape.
Is there some kind of heat treatment I can do to make it more pliable? I have a gas hob at my disposal
