@spelunky @AlexD @jonuxuk @sentiero can anyone verify if the tool roll will take a large inner tube, like an MTB 26" or 29"?

Haven't got a spare 26" inner tube but I could fit my 700x28c sideways into the middle compartment. The other two compartments hold two multitools, and it's still possible to fold both sides into the middle. I reckon you'd be fine, but maybe someone else can check.

Happy to do some object size tests with a bar bag, but I didn’t get a tool roll.

I just tested this out for you with a 29er tube, tool, levers.

It's a 29er tube that came out of the 29x2.6 that are on the bike. The tube packing job I did is not perfect. The roll is beefier than with a road tube as expected. I definitely intend to run it like this with the MTB, it's nice and secure with all the velcro and the wide straps.

I'm very happy with it, will probably get another tbh. Thanks again @user71349

Got my bar bag today. Wasn’t sure how much it’d fit but it’s surprisingly spacious.

Can’t wait to get out for a ride with it.
