If it makes you feel any better, it looks very similar to a globe bar I used to own that I believe was cheaply mass produced in the 80s. To be fair, doing that to a steaming pile of dog shit would be doing it a disservice but at least they've (probably) not fucked up a genuine antique.

I made Alan Carr’s equally tacky mirror ball drinks globe.
Those things cost pennies and the original globe was just papier mache.
