Need to show my youngest the honey badger at the bottom - she's obsessed with them since seeing one at Bristol Zoo in between lockdowns
(to be fair, they are ridiculously teddybear-like in real life!)

Yes, you're quite right and that's what I meant! No idea how I got that mixed up, considering how often I hear them talked about in this house :-D

Moved from Modern Art thread
Lockdown has been pretty hard for my eldest daughter, but she has been occupying her spare time painting on old bits of fabric, with views from her balcony on the isle of dogs. acrylic paint and a medium which allows the paint to soak into the fibres like dye effect, as opposed to canvas which has been treated for surface application. Incredible atmospheric colour, from winter sunrises over Greenwich peninsula

This painting again on fabric is just stunning, my daughter is 25 her work is always inspiring and uplifting. She won’t want me to say this, but being creative and resourceful during lockdown has given her time to spend observing and enjoying her home environment during this difficult time. The expression of dawn across London the river reflection is filled with hope.

More creative work from eldest daughter, the detail and composition and fabric background colour. Immense detail and great concentration, I really don’t know where she gets these creative juices from. Accomplished to support her videographer work as an illustrator.

More experimental use of fabric and felting technique this has made me see Jupiter cloud swirls, daughter was just thinking more earthly perspectives from sky, horizon, foreground layering

Not been doing too much art lately. Certainly not to the standards seen round here. Amazing stuff. I really need to pick it up and start sketching.
Anyway, really looking forward to the new Grayson Perry Art Club tonight on C4.
