That looks quite nice, though any small rack would do. I generally recommend Nitto although my last one was a little skewed. Aluminum for weight savings and cheap shine if you’ve some sweat to spare.

If you happen to have canti mounts the very cheap SJS mini front rack is popular. I've just bodged one on the back of a bike without mudguards to keep it from drooping there.

I think @tm had one of those. I own a Rawland Raidoverks and a Nitto M-180, the nitto is better in every way and I would reccomend.

But I also want to be able to run a basket on it for commuting.

Can anyone tell me if a rack like an m-18 that fits to lower fork braze ons will be more suitable/ stronger ? I guess it depends how much weight in basket too? My 137 basket got stolen with my bike but I do have a large 139 hanging around.
