No idea on build times but fits a few requirements I think? I just enjoy the name.

Indeed it is. It’s been like dealing with a good riding mate that I’ve not met yet.
Talked/email over my spec to ensure that it was right for what I was after.
Kept me very well informed when things started to get delayed due to Covid. We’d on the side of caution with dates as to not over promise. -

160mm. Perfect for a noob!

It wasn’t a suggestion, just a response to @BareNecessities comment
But as mentioned a few times already, Helm forks can be set to 120/140/160mm with the use of spacers

I shouldn't take any notice of that guy
-

Maybe just an XC race bike covered in 'hippy is fat' stickers then
-
• #710
Noob, hadn’t realised it was you replying
-
• #711
If Hippy buys an XC bike, do I win something?
-
• #713
A year's supply of gravel and a tin of paint for your shed
-
• #714
Or a supply of Immac
-
• #715
And a 2022 race license
-
• #716
Surely if anyone gets a prize for the purchase of an XC bike it's me?!
-
• #717
nah you are on the verge of asking hippy to weld his own frame, you are completely out of touch with the common man
-
• #718
What do you need all that Immac for?
-
• #719
Good point.
Fucksake.
-
• #720
Yeah, I have EU friends so I was looking at UK and EU options depending on availability and costs of shipping to one or the other.
-
• #721
I’d look at US>UK before looking at EU>UK, transit times including customs seem faster on more established routes.

Are you their sales rep now?
https://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/pace-rc529-any-owners-around/
It says "pre-order". Pre order for when though? ah "Delivery approximately April"
Oh, full bikes might be available. £3500 for their XT version.
"If your colour choice of complete bike is instock then delivery is 6-8 weeks." Still 2 months!

Well, I’m familiar with the bikes and like them- so I’m prepared to recommend them. Other bikes may be better but I’ve not ridden them.
I think delivery will depend on component availability- if you call them and say “what can I get fast?” they will work with you.
I have a set of Hunt 30mm internal 29er wheels with new Schalbe tyres and an XTR 10-51 cassette that you could borrow.

Would work. Is there one available or are these built to order? How much?

I emailed Stanton this morning. I'll email Cotic and see what they say.
Hippy needs a bike called a 'beefy'
