I am aware I am a massive pain as a client as I want everything too line up (aware the tap and spout are not quite where they should new ideally - 25mm higher) but have managed to work with the guy (who is dead nice) to get lines converging at the right places (have 3 plains to take into account).Couple more pics. Reeded glass and white flush plate as I felt brass would be too much.

Just moved into a house with zero gas, does anybody have experience of getting connected to the mains? I understand it's a National Grid service, but maybe there are other (quicker) companies that offer the same.
