I rode 28mm off road today.

I fell over.

But I fell over whilst walking not riding.

I think this proves categorically that skinny tyres cut through the mud better and 1x is shit.

first time I ever did #gravel aka #notshitfromabutt, I did it on (i) 25mm and (ii) an all carbon focus cayo... and had.... 0 punctures

Does Paris Roubaix count? That was on 24mm at 120psi (and before you think I'm a complete idiot, they were pumped that high because I wasn't sure I'd find a pump before the start and the plan was to let them down rather than worrying about starting too low. I of course forgot to let them down).
