Also carradice works beautifully ona nitto M18 provided you have some sort of support at the bottom; strong piece of cardboard or PVC sheet

This is my likely option if I convince myself a diverge carbon fork (with rack mounts, mind) can handle it. Friend of the show Jan Heine went off road with loaded GBs on the front of his test Diverge, but he didn’t need to live with the consequences.

This is the same fork on that Instagram link, so I assume there's something similar going on.
