So my Sire R3 DZ arrived today. It has dual pickup (won’t be using them for a while) and is Grand Auditorium size. Having been using a nylon string travel/junior size the larger size and steel strings are something of a shock. There is more room for my fingers which is a real bonus. A surprise is the pick guard, but apparently Anderton’s take a container load at a time and do the setup in their own facility so maybe add one then since most people probably want one.
I’ll do a full photo in the morning.
