1x pinch flats like crazy, that's why I run a tubeless drive train.

Titanium is also a not-great material to build forks from (I should know, I bought a pair).

My next upgrade will be Cush Core's new front derailleur inserts. They let your FD keep functioning even if you've lost all power to the main engines, eh Scotty.

Fife gravel fun today, mixed in with a few bogs for good measure.

It was, until I found this ditch with my front wheel, held the endo for 3 or 4 seconds before the face plant!

Rider needs a bike fit and bike that fits.
There's a lot of hate here for people with short legs and long torsos that are flexible.

Tentsmuir forest right? I love taking a turn round there, manage on the road bike since it's all I've got.

Ask 'are you OK?'I can't find the photo of it now but my mate riding into an electric fence in the alps was hands down one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Cue 15 mins of slapstick of him trying to untangle it but getting shocked whilst he did it.

Yeah, that's the one, loads of fun easy single track and forestry roads. Great place to ride.

What's the likelihood of my chain coming off on 1x9 shimano with NW chainring but no clutch mech?
-
• #16973
None if you leave the front derailleur on the bike (assuming there is already one on the bike)
-
• #16974
You might be OK if there's no mud or rocks, you have quite a close ratio cassette, short cage derailleur and the B-screw is wound pretty much fully in. I wouldn't bother without a chainguide/catcher though.

Depends on the riding you do, no?
I have the same setup on the commuter and never dropped the chain once, but if you are riding a lot of rough offroad, jumps and such it might come out, but not at every corner I'd say
Pinch flatted the road bike on some gravel. Fucksake, nowhere is safe without your gravel bike! You've been warned! Beware riding anything but steeds de gnarmac
