Finally time for me to do the right thing by this and get it on a jubilee and... I like it. Must be getting old.

Back on this. Best first automatic watch to buy.
Defiantly recommend to anybody getting into this crazy Horology thing.

I bought some straps to try out on the Longines, not that I don't like the stock one, I'm just a magpie. I got a perlon, nato, suede and shark leather one and tbh I think they all look good apart from maybe the perlon which sits a bit weird with the long lugs.

What the others look like?
NM... You're uploading them

Quirk of the upload system, I can only do one at a time and each needs to be selected twice.

I like the nato the most I think.
-
• #52439
i think the perlon looks best personally
-

Nato for me but I think that's because of the colour match to the dial markers.
Might be worth considering an Erika's in the same colour... definitely more comfortable.

That nato

I did consider an erika but the one on my Seiko 5 annoys me with how elastic it is.

NATO if it was me wearing it.

The perlon is nice but my favourite would be the suede, in a classy understatement way.

Suede for me too

I can’t remember if it was here that someone was after one of the last Bond Seamaster.
I have a friend who is looking to unload this

the perlon which sits a bit weird with the long lugs.
I really liked wearing a 2 piece perlon on my skx013. It was a bit top heavy, but looks wize it was spot on.

@leggy_blonde thanks dude, I love it too (but then i suppose i would). I'm supposed to be selling it and consolidating down to just two watches (one of which is a wedding present, otherwise that would be the one for the reluctant chop), but I haven't been able to bring myself to send it away!
@no_mates mines an m series which i think puts it 2010 - i think they stopped making them in 2013? Strap is actually a Panerai OEM but I don't know what it's called! I got the watch serviced after I bought it and they were late in returning it to me, so they let me pick a strap for free when i was picking it up in the boutique. I'm pretty sure it's the Calf Assolutamente but don't hold me to it - https://www.panerai.com/gb/en/accessories/straps-and-bracelets/mx006zbz.html

Suede or the OG mesh for me.
-

Leather or mesh are the best for me, but all look good tbh
A DW-5600 is such a great tool watch. Does everything, goes anywhere. That and a Speedmaster is a great two watch collection, no doubt.
