Don’t sell it if you are going to regret it, I have kept my first road bike which is also an Asolo. I keep going to sell it and then can’t bring myself to do it.

Mine is sat unbuilt :/ it’s really too small for me but it’s quite sentimental so will have to build it for a smaller family member. I would have taken this but 63 cm is 2 cm too big I think.

Well done, nice bike and well priced. By any chance do you have any photos of this when it was your “best bike”. Bet it looked a charm.

Hi, did this get snapped up already?

Yeah I grabbed it. Sadly having to part with it already but @lsinclair has snapped it up (he pmed Joe after me, so thought it was only fair to offer to him before re-advertising it)

No worries. Hope it gets a new lease of life with @lsinclair. Beautiful frame

Will try and do it justice! On the hunt for a campag groupset now...

Are you going down the vintage route or modern campag?

One of the modern five arm sets ideally
Joining the bandwagon and having a lockdown clear out. Based in Cardiff, but I’ll be in Hackney for work in a week or so. Happy to post, or collection from Cardiff or London when I’m there.
I have more items in the components classifieds.
Pinarello Asolo F+F 63cm ST 60cm TT
May well regret this one, it was my first road bike and it’s gone through various iterations. Been used as a daily commuter, for sportifs, a weekend best bike, a flat bar cruiser, and a European tourer, but sadly is now surplus to requirements.
The frame itself is in really good condition considering it’s age, not been crashed during my ownership. The logos in the d/s have blown which I think is a pretty common issue on this age Pinarello. Apart from that, and a few minor scuffs, the paintwork and chrome is in excellent condition. The black has a slight sparkle to it, and there loads of nice pantograph and decal details around the frame. The biggest tyre I ran it with was a 28mm, you may be able to squeeze a 30mm in, but I can’t say for definite.
Italian threaded BB, 27.2mm seat post diameter.
£200 + postage
I can send more photos and information if needed, just ask.
