I'm not the one complaining my GRX finish has rubbed off after giving my bike repeated mud baths :P
-
• #16932
I'm past complaining, I've decided it looks very pro this way and I tell myself I am at peace with it.
(Seriously, can't wait for the mud to be gone to fully overhaul the whole bike)

In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi-sabi (侘寂) is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.[2] The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of appreciating beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete" in nature.[3] It is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence (三法印, sanbōin), specifically impermanence (無常, mujō), suffering (苦, ku) and emptiness or absence of self-nature (空, kū).
Characteristics of wabi-sabi aesthetics and principles include asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, economy, austerity, modesty, intimacy, and the appreciation of GRX lever finish rubbing off unevenly through use

Cross doesn’t exist anymore so it’s only right they go here
The take we’re not ready for is that ultra endurance/ gravel race bikes are the ones which need their own thread
