Wowsers - that guy. The bridge is offset 'vertically' on the body and the filed slots in the bridge was to then correct the stringline?
That's mental - he really did a number on your guitar. I guess you could be chasing him for the money to remedy it, but I wouldn't blame you if didn't and just wanted shot of the experience.
