Yep! Been after one of these.

Am riding up to Shoreditch later, might persuade my companion to go a bit further, otherwise will collect within a few days.

I've considered that, but I'd like to try all other options before using clamps.

Oh the attachment do clear the ends of the fork. I've attached a picture from a different angle, might be clearer from there. But there is still a big gap between the fork and the rack ends.
Good idea, I'll do a post on the steamroller thread too.

Aluminium is brittle and delicate - not a great long term rack material.

Sure the steel racks are tougher but Pelago dont make the narrowest one in steel. And black size M are out of stock.
I had spec pizza rack for two years, but I didnt use it much, eventualy sold it. -

Can anyone recommend a front rack for a cantilever braked Spesh Tricross please? Looking for something similar size to the Spesh Pizza Rack mount.

Anyone compare the Pelago front rack with this BLB front rack ?https://www.bricklanebikes.co.uk/blb-t-rack-matt-black
They look pretty much identical but the BLB rack is quite a bit cheaper. Also, anyone use and prefer the Pelago Rasket over the racks? Haven't seen many people use the Rasket and just wondering if anyone has anything bad to say on their build vs the Pelego racks.

One is lighter and of substantially higher quality than the other.
One also rusts instantly, despite claiming to be made of ‘stainless steel’.

Thanks, noted. On second look the BLB isn't that much cheaper as the one I linked is smaller in size to the big Pelago.
But I'm assuming you mean the lighter, higher quality one which doesn't rust is the Pelago... -

https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/carriers-racks/jtek-alloy-front-carrier-cantilever-boss-mounting-black/ if you can live with smaller and a seperate pannier rack
Pelago if not

Any good Pelago utility rack alternatives? Black/silver out of stock everywhere. The Mash rack on the previous pages is lovely with the offset legs but me thinks i'm gonna struggle to get that in the UK.

Also... Clamping a Cetma style rack to carbon bars a terrible idea? This looks like a good bit of kit but I'm worried about those clamps even with pads

Looking for a rack similar to the Racktime Topit. They seem to be out of stock. It needs to fit to the central calliper mount and eyelets halfway down the fork. No eyelets at the bottom. For panniers rather than a porteur.

Choices choices… two deals on here - black Tara for £35 or stainless nova for £50… what to do what to do!!
-
• #1095
I found the Nova much less faff to set up with mudguards and disc brakes.
The Tara has a threaded boss at the top of the hoop for a dynamo mount which the Nova doesn't.
Tara paint scratches pretty easily, the Nova obviously doesn't.
I'd go for the Nova - they are discontinued and quite hard to come across, £50 is a good price.

Cheers spotter. Looks a bit over complicated for what I need. Will keep looking.

Cheers, going mudguards/rim brakes and dynamo on a ti bike… the stainless is a huge bonus but I’m not a fan of the bracing strut on the nova aesthetically… the Tara would probably get painted (I know) to match fork/stem to the ti frame… hmm… I know I won’t see the strut once panniers are on, but the nova also has a 5kg lower weight limit…
Edit - went for the Tara…

Is it safe or should I use thinner nut?
Also, is it better to use normal nut not track nut (adapter works as washer)?
