• Nice. I like the So-Ez frame, but the thing that puts me off is 135mm rear hub and road cranks required when I've got a perfectly good wheelset and Sram Omniums ready to go on my planned Tracklocross/Workhorse build.

If anyone is thinking of selling a 54cm Allday or 53cm Steamroller (or anything else similar in style and size) then let me know :)

  • I don’t think road cranks are required as they came with Squid branded Stronglight Square Taper cranks, I’m using road cranks for a better choice of smaller chainrings for when CX season comes around (yes, I plan on racing it).

Spacing is a bit of a pain, and the chainline has taken some figuring out but seems OK with 1 BB spacer on the drive side and reversing the cog on the rear so it runs inboard towards the hub shell.

  • Yeah, I get it, but it's a bit of a faff compared to other similar frames out there. I know they fit track cranks, but I would like to use parts I have already and Omniums don't fit at all unfortunately.

I'm hoping to be able to revive ThunderCross this year (pandemic restrictions pending) and want to adjust the format to make it more Tracklocross and Single Speed friendly.
