Yeah I have some of this stuff, and did on my last place, bit obtrusive in the lounge I find, but often the lesser of two evils. I quite like being nosey and so does the cat and our road isn't too busy anyway. I got recommended a shutter/ blinds guy today, apparently he's mad cheap and good, but we'll see.

Wasn't aware this was a thing, interesting option considering we looking at adding a bit of privacy from the street
