Good protip.
Sounds very similar to me trying to use the idiot-proof fine adjustment thingy on the Explorer 2 clasp. Turns out the entire clever fastening mechanism bit is also attached to the clasp by pin, as that’s what fell off when I absentmindedly pushed a random springbar in whilst chatting to my wife. Cue 20 minutes of high quality swearing trying to put the clasp back together....
My Pelagos is back on the bracelet today for a bit of Friday excitement..
I have come up with a handy hint for knowing which way the bracelet needs to attach to a watch.. basically you put it once and that’s wrong.. so you remove it again (scratching a lug) then you put it on a second time (after losing a springbar for 20 minutes) and that’s the right way. Works every time.
