  • Guys, I was talking about the Sinn! @edscoble that was a reply to your comment about it being your favourite chrono. 200m WR on a chronograph is unusual (to me anyway).

  • *checks calendar*

  • Lot of Smiths today...

  • I am having that

  • My Pelagos is back on the bracelet today for a bit of Friday excitement..

I have come up with a handy hint for knowing which way the bracelet needs to attach to a watch.. basically you put it once and that’s wrong.. so you remove it again (scratching a lug) then you put it on a second time (after losing a springbar for 20 minutes) and that’s the right way. Works every time.

  • Whoop! Didn’t know that Sinn do 200m, that’s very impress for a chrono.

  • ^^ 40% of the time, it works every time.

Speedmaster is back on the main strap.

  • Good protip.

Sounds very similar to me trying to use the idiot-proof fine adjustment thingy on the Explorer 2 clasp. Turns out the entire clever fastening mechanism bit is also attached to the clasp by pin, as that’s what fell off when I absentmindedly pushed a random springbar in whilst chatting to my wife. Cue 20 minutes of high quality swearing trying to put the clasp back together....

  • Looking good!

  • 177 today

  • That one is v cool as well, yep. There's something I find a bit odd about the 5600 variants that have those really plain LCD surrounds though. I think my brain expects to see loads of writing and logos in like four different colours filling that space. I appreciate the minimalism though.

  • I've always wanted one of that shape over the others. But the casioak does look really good, and a bit more interesting.

Just need to pick but I'm worried whichever will make me want the other.

  • Sinn’s back on steel. Edit: date fail

    @motman that’s a winning combo.

  • In the same way the Seiko Quartz logo is a bit phallic, someone once noted the Smiths ‘crown’ logo bares a striking resemblance to tits and now I can’t bloody unsee it.

  • I love that watch.

  • I never found it an issue at all tbh. I love it it's so light and comfy to wear.

I do wish they'd engineered a bracelet to go on it rather than the redesign they did with the mk2. I'd love to have a bracelet option for it.

  • Bastard. No Smith's watch for me now.

  • Time to er ahem clock off for the week
