Totally if it’s a being sold as that but most aren’t.
We had a customer a couple of years ago who sold his house, boiler broke down in the week after sale and instead of calling him and getting him to front the repair who would have then called us, they got someone else out said it wasn’t fixable and got a new boiler. He said I’m not paying that and they took him to court, they won and it cost him 7 grand. Very unfair but folk are dicks
Yeah. And buyers can be cynical and go in high to get a sale agreed in principle then chip away on nonsense like the above.
If it was being sold as a 'recently fully renovated' house or something very modern I kind of get it, anything else and it's a big nope.
