I thought about doing this but with such small wheels wouldn’t pedal strike be an issue?

Only if the pedals are afixed to the hubs.

It will depend on which folder Chris is using. If it’s an awesome Raleigh Twenty that has a 114 dropout...

Hmmmm steel frame might flex enough for 120mm track spacing. Maybe find some thinner lock nuts to shave a mil or so off.
Anyway the offer is there, just pay or provide the parts and I will build for no extra charge.

It is doable on a Twenty but some have 110 dropouts....

I’ve got some 20” Halo bmx rims laced to Surly ultra new hubs (100/120 spacing) I put together for this exact purpose. Only the front has a brake track. No longer needed as have a Brompton for my now longer commute. Only issue is that they’re in my office in London (and I live in Herts.) so will likely be a while before I can get them.

Nice..
Wanted 20" fixed gear wheelset. I want to convert my folding bike into a fixie but finding a rear fixed wheel is proving to be a bit difficult. Please help !
