  • After seeing your post, I was thinking about Nirvana. So good at picking covers, right? Black Girl, Love Buzz, Man Who Sold The World - they all fit in to their sound soooo well. They could all be nirvana songs in their own way.

  • I’m in two minds about Nirvana.
    I had a tape of bleach which I liked a bit, then suddenly binged about two days before Nevermind. I hammered Nevermind and by the time unplugged came out, I was over them, so this is almost new to me now. His voice is great, his guitar tone is grim, should have played a beat up nylon string guitar.

    But if you are talking grunge cover versions...I think the Afghan Whigs created a genre with this

  • I was never a huge fan really, I just think they chose covers really well. At the time I was more in to Faith No More and that side of things. Actually I was listening to Black Sabbath earlier, who FNM of course covered
