I used 4G for home broadband back in 2012 for 3 years. And again last year (with a Three 4G WiFi router) because the Sky broadband couldn’t cope with Zoom meetings. The 4G router last year was by far the fastest connection I could get to the property, and to be fair, it was also the most stable, with the least problems. Sky Broadband was crap, and most others aren’t much better once the honeymoon period is over.
5G provides incredible speeds. And it’s new tech. Over time the prices will drop, coverage will increase and it doesn’t need cables. I’m sure there’s drawbacks, but for a user like me, it’s great.
These speeds are insane!
Is the general consensus that 5g will replace the need for home broadband?
