I'd clamp the hoods a little lower for a flatter transition, and potentially tilt the bars up afterwards for a little more rise on the hoods if required.

Feels right
If it feels right, it is right.

Rotate bars down 1-2° and keep levers where they sit on the bars. But looks pretty comfy euro-cx-style.

What's the plan? How come you had horizontal dropouts with a hanger added?
-
• #128263
Cool !

We had the dropouts kicking about and I figured the option to add gears in the future was appealing.
SSCX fat tyre pub biek is the plan, annoyingly did a mind fart and sold the wheelset I was planning to use for the build but I’ve got a Dynamo front and going to get a novatech cassette hub built up to a matching a319 over the next week or so.
Parts bin build - Bullmoose bars , dura ace 7800 chainset, v brakes and old LX levers. Brown wall gravelking SK, basically same as I had it with gears but SS.

nice, re-paint?
-
• #128267
I like the existing paint, just debating painting it neatly with white rattle can or raw lacquer burnt fade.

Look forward to seeing it (& a pub!).

Could be those dark gray / black rims where the coating rubs off in the wet

Crank arm length.
Wasn't sure where to put this. I usually ride 172.5 but have seen a possible bargain come up at 177.5. Does it make any difference? FWIW I'm sort of medium-sized, 5'10" and ~31" inside leg, femur normal size as far as I know. Apologies for mixing up metric and imperial. Cheers.
-edit- This is on a geared road bike BTW so clearance not an issue.

Do you have different sized cranks on other bikes that you can try? If you can't feel the difference, go for it.
Thanks mates !!!
