The initial meaning of the tag isn't necessarily that relevant to what you ask – to my understanding it was about artists supporting each other financially during the pandemic. But I've found that the artists using that tag tend to price their works quite reasonably. Be prepared to sift through plenty of works that don't speak to you, but with a bit of patience you'll find there are nuggets of gold there too.
If you see anything you like don't be shy about writing to the artist and ask if they might not have a list of works for sale, or if they'd be up for a commission. (A painting of a sweet fixed gear bike being the obvious choice).
