For extra framebag space ;-)

I find I care about weight more the further I've been riding in a day, and the further I still have to go :)
Just find trail bikes a bit sluggish at times. Miss my old cotic, which went like hell if I had the legs. Part of that's big tyres and flat pedals on my current bike, part of it is weight.

Sure, no reason to add more heft than you need. Really I was poking fun at myself and my 30×51 low gear :)
-

I have a 16" low gear, if that makes you feel any better

The fit on the modern geo is somewhat different, steep seat tube angles, like 77.5 on the Pipedream Sirius, and the dropper posts don't have setback usually. Which might be great, or not, depending on what you like and use it for.

I'd imagine steep seat angles probably aren't so bad for someone using a mid-foot position

Or if you don't want to be seatting behiond the rear axel.

I've never been able to manual or wheelie for any length of time. I very much doubt I'm going to start now.

What is that tube hanging at the back?
I'm liking this the more I look at it. Maybe I just need to see more examples of dirty bikes with some bags hanging off them. :)

A fishing rod

Look what I found. It looks so short, compared to everything I've been looking at, like it's had a head on with something.

That would not inspire any confidence on steep downhills

I haven't ridden it in 5 years. Probably feel like I'm riding the Tripster. Just needs some aerobars.

Aero pub bike

My pub bike has stupid track drops on it. I'm waiting to get longer bars and bigger sprocket onto the Inbred so I can actually ride it off-road and its short risers will go onto the Giant Bowwowwowery.

Wheelies might be pointless fun, but a manual is a good skill to have.

Would bang.

I swear I've seen another brand that looks just like that.
Looks like it's out of a sci-fi film.

Get out, hippy would never be able to make do with just three taps.

So, if I could get hold of one of these, how do I size it up online? Stack and Reach and stuff probably mean feck all going from road/tt to mtb given the totally different riding position.
I think ~ 565 / 395 stack/reach on the Kinesis which doesn't tally with anything on the Kona.
The Stanton looks good and available too but twice the price. Then again, that's with a sus fork and Shimano build kit.
I like the front end but not sure about the chain stay yoke area and it's pretty slack, right?
1 set of bottle bosses though. Could get around running a bladder and I still have my 20 year old camelbak :)
