So my Gangsta has a standard seat post of 29.6. Ive just bought a 29 seat post, will I be able to get away with that or is it not gonna fit.

Think you’ll have to shim it or else it will slip. Otherwise you may over tighten the seat tube and damage it

Yeah thats what I though, not sure ill get a shim in that size thats my issue. Had a look online

I just measured my post of my V1 and couldn't find a thomson in 29.6 then this one came up cheap.

Hopefully it fits, with the full fat coke trick suggested.

there's decent looking shims online( the bay )- could be more substantial.My V1 is 29.8 post size

I couldn't find anything for that size or even like a .6mm shim of sorts.

I have a thomson sized at 29.8 for 60 bucks if interested
