Did feel like I cheated a little as you can see some of the street sign. Unless that was intentional?
The job's a good 'un. You got it... Namrik Mews / Namrik Stables.

"Namrik"?? Odd name; never heard it before. The following has some clues about its origin:-
http://hovehistory.blogspot.com/2019/05/st-aubyns-hove.htmlReally nice around there although it’s def a rich area
Deffo. All those classy little mews places and such...

the nut and bolt shop on Portland road also trade under the name Namrik, maybe they started out in the mews?

Interesting, I never heard of that shop. I'll keep an eye out. Yes, sounds likely that they started out in Namrik Mews.

Silverdale Avenue, looking at Burton Walk, which crosses the Hove to Preston Park line.
(Cycle to the bottom end of Silverdale Avenue and turn right... go past the garages to as far as you can go... you get a great view of the two lines (from Brighton and from PP) converging. I've tried to tag it, but it just hasn't worked out.)

New tag.
It's Furlough Wednesday, so I've got plenty of time to do BBT in the middle of the day. Mrs. sea-level's idea was that I wash the kitchen floor... got time to do that too.

im stumped on this one, will be interesting to see where it is though, looks like the was an equally large building there before, judging by the wall and steps. thought I knew where it was but 20mins of google earth isn't getting me anywhere on this one.

It’s an impressive building. Mid 20th Century, I believe. I’ve tried to tag it a few times, but somehow they didn’t work out. Today I think I got the perfect angle. Fairly central.

Ah, I know where it is. I’ve been in there a couple times. Going to see if I can find a photo of what was there before. Might even be able to get there for a tag if the light holds out

this originally stood there, bombed in the war and the flats put up in 1957

Impressive! It never occurred to me that a rather large church or similar building was there before. You were right about the wall and the steps.

I always wondered about the name of that shop.
You can walk in and ask for the dooda that screws onto the thingamajig of the whatchamacallit and they'll disappear out back for 5 minutes, come back with exactly what you're looking for and charge you 42p for it.

Hahaha! I've got to try it.
I note different spelling: Namrick vs Namrik, but still: could be related.

Can pretty much guarantee any block of flats or midcentury building standing in this town was previously a large impressive building or network of small streets and houses. You can find some really amazing stuff if you go digging (and if you find old buildings amazing...).

Apologies. I tagged the new location this morning, but a friend took the photo(s). Just waiting on him to send me a few samples so I can pick which one to post.
OTOH, if you want a new tag right now, I can post up a photo I took 2 or 3 weeks ago.
