Yeah the offset looks useful. I don't actually think you'd need much as you could either put the cassette on the outer side of the outer wheel, but I imagine it would slip through the spokes of the wheel behind anyway, you don't need too much offset for a lot of wheels I don't think (from brief wheel boxing experience)

My cheaper solution was some old sofa legs screwed into the wall. They were just long enough to get two wheels on, but struggled a bit with anything over 2". No photos unfortunately. Thos offset hooks look good, but I'd imagine a bit more offset would be ideal so you can fully clear a cassette or disc rotor.
